A planetary centrifugal mixer is a high-precision industrial mixing equipment engineered for homogeneous mixing and efficient defoaming of liquid, powder, high-viscosity paste, and nano-scale materials—all in a single operation. Unlike traditional blade mixers, it relies on the synchronized revolution and rotation of material containers (no contact with mixing parts) to generate centrifugal force and shear force, achieving uniform mixing without material damage, stratification, or bubble residue.

SMIDA planetary centrifugal mixers break the traditional mechanical mixing mode, adopting a bladeless non-contact design with three core mechanical principles to achieve high-efficiency mixing and defoaming. The material container is fixed on a 45° tilted bracket, and the whole system is driven by a high-torque motor to realize coordinated revolution and rotation—creating a 3D fluid movement of materials with no dead zones.
Generates strong centrifugal force that pushes materials away from the center to the container wall, forming a uniform annular material layer. This force squeezes hidden bubbles in the material to the surface, laying the foundation for defoaming, and prevents sedimentation of high-density fillers (e.g., metal powder, ceramic particles).
The container rotates around its own axis, generating strong shear forces. The velocity difference between the inner and outer material layers will generate local vortices, tearing the aggregated particles into primary particles and achieving molecular level mixing of multi-component materials.
The tilted bracket upgrades material movement from 2D planar circular motion to 3D spatial spiral motion. Materials roll axially (up and down) while revolving/rotating, ensuring full mixing of materials with large density/viscosity differences (e.g., silver powder + organic carrier for conductive pastes) and eliminating mixing dead zones at the bottom/edge of the container.
The combination of revolution, rotation, and 45° tilt creates continuous convection, impact, and shear of materials. Bubbles are first squeezed to the surface by centrifugal force, then sheared and broken into micro-bubbles by the 3D fluid movement—either naturally released (non-vacuum model) or rapidly extracted by the vacuum pump (vacuum model). This process realizes mixing and defoaming in one step, shortening processing time from hours (traditional mixers) to minutes.
